Established in 1970, Brokenwood has evolved from a weekend venture for hobby winemakers into a well-known wine lab. Founded in 1996 by Joel and Sarah Gott, husband and wife winemaking team and has received great review from Robert Parker and Wine Spectator. Sarah Gott worked previously in Joseph Phelps winery. Joel himself fourth-generation California vintner, who was born into a family of California vintners – his grandfather ran Inglenook Winery in the 60’s, and his father founded Montevina Winery in the 70’s.

The Azienda Uggiano was originally set up by a group of Bergamo businessmen with a passion for Tuscan wines and inspired by a wine expert, Giuseppe Losapio.
