Established in 1970, Brokenwood has evolved from a weekend venture for hobby winemakers into a well-known wine lab. Chief Winemaker/Managing Director, Iain Riggs has been passionate about exploring new premium regions to produce single vineyard wines, as each vintage allows, ensuring that quality will never be compromised. Since 1991, the winery decided to sourced from multi-regions throughout Australia to create a style that demostrate balance, elegance and consistency wines.

The first noticeable aspect is a beautiful green colour and lifted honey dew melon fruit. The finesse on both aroma and palate comes from earlier picking dates and older, large format French oak. Some ‘bran meal’ notes but the fruit takes centre stage with stone fruit and zesty citrus characters.

BODEGAS NAIA K NAIA – VERDEJO 2021
In 2002, Bodegas Naia set-up in La Seca, a region that is considered a grand cru in Rueda with the idea of making great white wines. Since then, the cornerstone of its work has been a selection of old vines of the autochthonous Verdejo. They are untrained vines, and some are pre-phylloxera. The vineyard is owned by Bodegas Naia and is 21.4 hectares in size and includes some strains that are more than a century old. From this raw material, the winery has been creating white wines that, over the years, have delighted many and have obtained top recognition and prizes.
