BRAIDA BARBERA D’ASTI – BRICCO DELL’ UCCELLONE 2017

The wine has a vibrant ruby color, with enticing aromas of red fruit and delicate floral hints. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied, offering flavors of red currant, fresh herbs, and a refreshing finish.

Purplish ruby red colour. Very evident scents of ripe cherry and red berries. The flavour is deep, full and harmonious, with a persistent finish that lingers on the palate, ending with a hint of almond.

The land has to be loved, protected, and cared for. We are its guardians: we want to make it profitable, not exploit it. Because, in that way, its fruits thrive all the more, and the quality of the wines that we obtain from them also continues to grow. Our members are small-scale farmers: they are familiar with every inch of their vineyards, and they know just when and how to intervene in order to obtain the best from their grapes. And we, the cooperative, help them with agronomical and oenological support, investing in specialist personnel and in production technology.

This wine is a single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon which exhibits classic Cabernet Sauvignon flavours of cassis, red fruits and cedar notes woven together with supple tannins and the taut structure which is the hallmark of its origin, the high altitude Remolinos Vineyard.
